Toxic Burden

Description

I don't want to put it as Mature ;___;

Yep, this is Sakie. In her canine disguise, as I prefer to call it. It's some kind of anthro/half-anthro form made of fail :roll:
Why is her eye glowing like that? Well, do you remember that part about nocturnal vision? Her pupils are usually just pinpricks, but now they're fully open and reflecting light (just like a cat's eyes does).

The reason:

I felt inspired to do this picture after some utterly irritating events here on dA, as well as at home. Damn thieves! Damn broken family! >:U
A heavy build up of hatred and irritation is running through my veins, corroding my temper like toxic acid and making me mean and irascible to everyone near me. ¬¬

Get rid of the toxin! Puke out the heart and throw it in the dishwasher! 8D

Seriously, I need to come out with friends and have fun, not brood over how shitty this world is or whatever.

Alright then, here is the technical part:

I'm very proud of this piece ^^ It took 2 days to sketch and 4 days to colour. It was a great opportunity for me to experiment with and practise different light - 3 directions were used.
Finally I found a reason to paint glossy GORE! >:] That slimy organ is supposed to be a heart >.> And no, there's no blood here, only purple/fleshy slime that's supposed to be that 'toxic burden'.

Watercolours, coloured pencils and white gel-pen on watercolour paper.
